Mike Kendall, mister acquisition, gave me a stack of round wooden plaques. I think they were covers on wine barrels at one time. I began to experiment with them. These are the first results for a project my daughter, Deidre Calabro, calls 'Planetarium'. Once again I am learning a lot about what the paint and ink can do.
As I have done in the past, I decided that a painting that was 'done' was not really, and I re-imagined it with more excitement. I may hone it down some, but I like it better. I added some white, a little rust and some ink. Any thoughts?
